It\u2019s helped me mature and learn how to take care of myself. I\u2019ve come to realize how different it would be if I were doing all this when I am older.<\/p>\r\n<p>\r\n\r\n<\/p>\r\n<p>Being abroad has taught me to stay focused and solve problems. This exchange program has safety procedures and I learned at camp how to cope with any situation. I learned who I should contact if I need help. I also made friends with other exchange students. I don\u2019t regret studying abroad for 1 year. And I thank myself for taking the student exchange test. I also am grateful to my family and everyone else for their support. For me, my exchange year is my second life because now I have another family and another set of friends 12,042 km away. It is more than studying abroad for 10 months. After 10 months, this second life does not disappear.
