The American curriculum is recognized internationally, with a diverse range of core and elective subjects to prepare students to be well-rounded individuals.

Students wishing to study in the International Program (US Dual Diploma) will learn through online channels alongside their current educational program at their home schools. Upon completion, students will receive a High School Diploma from Washington Academy (governed by the state of Maine), a prestigious high school in the United States, alongside their secondary education qualifications from their home school. This diploma not only gives students academic advantages over their peers but also increases their opportunities to attend renowned universities worldwide.

CLASS AND ASSESSMENT

The class format and assessment will be conducted online, featuring live sessions for core subjects as an optional component for students to join. Each subject will include detailed course information, email support, grading, assessment of assigned work, feedback on assignments, and quizzes.

The Advanced Placement (AP) Program is a rigorous curriculum that requires strong dedication and commitment in each subject. Students will receive graded scores for their courses and will be well-prepared for the standardized AP examinations. However, please note that exam fees are not included in the course tuition.

The AP scoring scale is divided into five levels (1–5). Universities generally recognize scores of 3 or higher for potential college credit or advanced placement. Nonetheless, the acceptance and credit transfer policies depend on each university’s individual discretion.

Accreditation

The American curriculum is known for its diversity, as it varies across different U.S. states. This means that schools may have slightly different curricular structures depending on their state of origin. However, international schools offering the American curriculum must be evaluated and accredited by recognized U.S.-based accreditation organizations that are internationally acknowledged, such as the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC).
